Disclaimer: This is a Blog, Not a Therapy Office

Hi there, wonderful reader!

A quick note before we dive in: This is a personal blog sprinkled with psychological insights about a myriad of life, abuse, my journey to motherhood, codependency, and trauma healing. These articles reflect my feelings, experiences, and memories of the traumas I’ve survived—which might look completely different from yours or someone else’s (or even the people who experienced the situations with me).

If you find yourself relating to what’s here, or if it stirs up deep feelings, excellent—you really are not alone! Your experiences, feelings, and memories are uniquely yours, and they deserve acknowledgment, expression, and care. But let’s be clear: this blog isn’t therapy, and I’m not your therapist (but I could be if you wanted to hop on a consultation call).

Think of this blog as a cozy, intimate brunch date with a gal friend where we share stories—not the place to start processing all of your childhood trauma. For that, a trained mental health professional is your go-to.

Again, this blog reflects my personal experiences, feelings, and interpretations. I do my best to maintain the anonymity of the people in my life—past or present—by altering identifying details to protect their privacy. Any resemblance to actual persons is purely coincidental unless explicitly stated.

I’m always open to support and feedback, so feel free to comment or email me (kindness is appreciated!). Together, we can promote mental health awareness, healing, and breaking those unpleasant dysfunctional patterns we’d all like to let go of.

With love,
Jessica
